Carers Support Group
We know that carers need support and understanding. We understand that you need time out. The Carers Support Group aims to relieve some of the isolation you may feel by providing monthly meetings where you can catch up with others who are in a similar situation.
Client Focus Group
Client involvement across our range of services and service delivery is very important to us. We have developed Client Focus Group which represents all clients to assist develop improved programs and systems. This group meets monthly with an independent facilitator to provide input and feedback about service quality, policies and other subjects tabled for discussion.
Annual Planning Day
We welcome family and community involvement. Every year we have an open day where family members, advocates, community and board members are invited to learn more about the daily operations of our service and our future plans.
Community Visitor Scheme
If you live in our houses Community Visitors call in to talk with you usually once a year. They check your house is the right fit for you and that it is kept in good condition. They also make sure you are involved in the community and that you have a written plan about how you want to be supported. The Community Visitors work for the NSW Ombudsman.
