SHANNON Miller is fast getting a reputation for his outstanding beading work.
After winning second prize for his section at the Parkes Show, some preliminary orders have started coming in for his bead designs.
Shannon has been beading for 17 years and admits it keeps him happy.
“People have been buying my beaded designs from me for ages,” said Shannon.
“I make and sell wallets, purses, necklaces and bracelets.
“I hope to one day make it into a business.”
In the meantime, Shannon will continue to be creative at CDS and do his beading.
“He can make just about anything,” said CDS Support Worker Georgia Ward.
“He also paints and he is a great cook.
“There isn’t much he can’t do and he takes requests from people who want bead-related products made,” she said.
From miniature elephants to other items, Shannon not only has the talent but also great recall and vision to be able to create such artwork.
“He’s an amazing talent!” Georgia said.
Well done Shannon!
